To help internationally acclaimed hip-hop act Atmosphere launch it’s much-anticipated 5th release “When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold,” Colle+McVoy created an multi-dimensional campaign that included a website, banners, t-shirts, posters, and a music video that currently runs on MTV . In its first week, the efforts helped launch the album to the top of the iTunes hip-hop chart and #5 on the Billboard chart.

Erberts & Gerbert's > Subs and Clubs
Erbert & Gerbert’s is a sub chain with 52 stores located throughout the midwest. The quirky name of the store was inspired from bedtime stories told to the founder by his father. In the stories, the boys travel through time and space learning valuable lessons about history and life. Much like two real boys ages 7 and 9, Erbert and Gerbert have wild imaginations and endless curiosity. It’s their love for adventure that drives all the creative for the Erbert & Gerbert brand.

150 T-shirts + 1 overworked iron ÷ 30 seconds = the world’s first Human Flipbook. What started out as a late-night (low-budget) TV spot running on Comedy Central and MTV went on to become a viral online sensation. Hundreds of blogs posted about it. Millions of people viewed it. And CNN covered it.

Erberts & Gerbert's > 20th Anniversary Celebration
How do you celebrate 20 years of making great subs? Well, if you’re thinking like two 7 and 9 year old boys you might build the world’s largest air vortex cannon and you blow some candles out on a cake from 180 feet away. So, that’s just what we did. We also built a candle cannon website, and a mini-version to travel from store to store for events and local press coverage.
To date, the videos has logged over 850,00 (free) online views.

Bike Everywhere > Brand Refresh
Bikeverywhere is a small publisher of professional quality bicycle maps and guides for the upper Midwest. Established in 1984 as Little Transport Press, Colle+McVoy renamed, redesigned and repacked the brand to better compete with the growing number of options made available recently online. Sales have continued to expand along with a cult like following among riders.

Free Arts of Minnesota > Awareness / Fund Raiser
Free Arts Minnesota is a nonprofit organization that creates art programs for disadvantaged and abused children. In order to raise awareness about the organization, thousands of Qee figurines were painted by children in the Free Arts program and given away to potential donors and volunteers. Virtual Qees were painted online at artisagift.org then thousands were given away virally. The campaign helped Free Arts Minnesota exceed their holiday fundraising goals.

Red Wing Shoes is best known in the blue collar world for making the best and longest lasting work boots on the planet for the past 100+ years. Recently, Red Wing’s quality and timeless style has drawn the attention of the lifestyle market as well. The “Make History” campaign was developed to build upon this momentum while staying true to Red Wing’s history of taking pride in a job well done.

Taubman Malls > Back-To-School Website
The assignment was to create a back-to-school promotion for yet another mall. The target audience was the increasingly wary, marketing savvy teenager. The solution was to ceate a site that would engage and ultimately provide an online social interaction. The sight has drawn over half a million views in the first ten days.

Take Me Fishing > Master Casters Site and Video
Over the past few years the number of people fishing has been quickly eroding. Why? One of the reasons was that fishing was being passed over for more high energy sports by the younger market. To help change the perception that fishing was boring, quiet and only for old guys, we created a series of high-energy videos showcasing the talents of some of the world's best casters.

This campaign spread the word about free counseling services available to those facing bankruptcy or foreclosure by showing how debt was more than just annoying. Calls to a toll-free number skyrocketed and so did hope.
